The difference between the folding and bending principles:

2.The dimensional accuracy of the folding machine control is to complete the folding edge, and the edge is used as the positioning reference. 3.Problems with scratches on the surface of the material:

When the bending machine is working, the material will move relative to each other in the lower die, and at the same time, it will leave an indentation without surface protection. At the same time, when bending a large workpiece, it is necessary to turn over and move many times, and it is inevitable that scratches will occur during the process.

When the large workpiece is bent because the sheet is flat and processed at the same time, all the processing of one side of the workpiece can be completed, and the surface damage is completely avoided.

4.The technical requirements of workers are different:

The bending machine has a relatively higher technical requirement for the bending workers.

The programming of the folding machine can be intuitively programmed by means of finger painting or offline programming by the engineer using software and imported into the processing program by USB or network connection. After the programming is completed, the main work of the worker becomes a simple loading and unloading work. No need to skillfully bend workers.

5.Tool configuration:

When the bending machine needs to implement certain special bending (such as arc), it needs to change the tool or transfer it to another machine to increase the transfer and temporary storage of the semi-finished product.

The folding machine can be configured by rotating the blanking beam design, and installing two sets of blanking beam tools at the same time so that all the bending operations can be completed in a single station. For arc bending or other special bending requirements, there is basically no need to change the tool. It can be fully implemented simply by making changes in the program.

6.Tool life:

Due to the relative movement of the workpiece in the die, the tool will wear and be repaired or replaced.

The folding machine basically avoids the relative movement between the material and the tool, and the tool has almost no wear for a long time, which greatly extends the tool life.

7.Operating position:

8.Drive system:

A. The bending machine is hydraulically driven, which brings more maintenance work and is susceptible to environmental factors.
