Table of Contents
1.1 Safety Signs
May cause serious personal injury or even endanger life.
May cause general personal injury or damage to products and equipment.
1.2 Laser Safety Grade
According to European standard EN 60825-1, article 9, this series of lasers belong to the fourth class of laser instruments. The product emits laser radiation with a wavelength of 1080nm or near 1080nm, and the optical power emitted by the output head is greater than 100W~2000W (depending on the model). Direct or indirect exposure to such light can cause damage to the eyes or skin. Although the radiation is not visible, the beam can cause irreversible damage to the retina or cornea. Appropriate and certified laser protective glasses must be worn at all times while the laser is in operation.
- Be sure to wear laser safety goggles at all times when operating the product. Laser safety goggles have laser wavelength protection selectivity, so please select the laser safety goggles that meet the laser output band of the product. Even if the laser safety glasses are worn, it is strictly prohibited to look directly at the output head when the laser is energized (whether or not it is in the illuminated state).
1.3 Safety Signs
Laser equipment safety identification includes: safety warning, laser output warning, product certification, etc. The details of the security identification are shown in the following table:
1.4 Optical Security
Dust on the laser output head will cause the lens to burn out when the light comes out.
- Do not output the laser with the protection cap of the laser output head open, otherwise the laser output lens or crystal will be burned
1.5 Electrical Safety
Please ground the equipment through the PE wire in the power cord, and ensure that the grounding is firm and reliable.
- The laser equipment is grounded and the laser equipment casing is charged, which may cause personal injury to the operator.
Make sure the AC voltage supply is normal.
- Incorrect connection mode or power supply voltage will cause irreparable damage to laser equipment.
1.6 Other Safety Precautions
1) When the laser equipment is running, do not look directly at the laser output head.
2) Do not use fiber laser equipment in dim or dark environment.
3) Please strictly follow the laser equipment manual to operate the laser equipment, otherwise any damage of the laser equipment will not be guaranteed.

Once you find any abnormality in the external box, please inform our company in time so as to deal with it as soon as possible.
Please check whether the packing list is consistent with the actual goods after unpacking. If you have any questions, please contact our company in time.
When taking out the laser equipment out of the box, attention should be paid to avoiding the collision or violent vibration of the laser equipment.
When taking out the coiled laser output cable, special attention should be paid to the distortion, bending and pulling of the laser output cable, and the laser outputhead should be avoided from collision and vibration.
- Laser output cable is a precision optical device, distortion or excessive bending of the output cable, laser output head vibration and impact will cause irreparable damage to the laser.

3 Installation
3.1 Overall Dimensions
The figure shows the appearance of LN-HW1000 handheld fiber laser welding machine.
3.2 The installation and use of the output head
The output head of LN-HW1000 hand-held fiber laser welding machine is self-made hand-held wobble head.
The specific appearance is shown in Figure 2.
For hand-held swinging head, the safety line must be connected to the work table or the workpiece before the laser welding machine works, otherwise the laser will not work normally.
It is strictly prohibited to clamp the safety wire directly to the wobble head.
It is strictly prohibited to disassemble the output lens not by our technician, otherwise the warranty will be invalid.
3.3 Cooling system requirement
1) Cooling system water temperature setting: 25±1℃
2) Coolant fluid requirement:
The cooling water is pure water, and it is suggested that drinking pure water can be used.
In order to prevent pipeline blockage caused by mold growth in the water of the chiller, it is suggested to add ethanol when filling pure water, and the volume ratio of ethanol is 10%.
When the ambient temperature of the equipment is between -10℃ and 0℃,
30% ethanol solution by volume must be used and replaced every two months.
When the ambient temperature of the equipment is lower than -10 ℃ , dual-system (with heating function at the same time) chiller must be used, and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the cooling system.
3) Other requirements for cooling system:
When starting the cooling system for the first time, check whether there is leakage in the whole waterway system and joints.
Keep the vents of the equipment well ventilated to ensure adequate air intake.
If the laser equipment is not used for a long time, the cooling water inside the cooling system and the laser should be drained, otherwise it will cause irreparable damage to the laser.
Set the water temperature of the cooling system correctly according to the ambient temperature.
Set the water temperature too high will lead to the laser can not work normally, set the water temperature too low will lead to the laser or laser output cable to produce condensation water, which will cause the laser irreparable damage.
Before turning on the laser, it is necessary to ensure that the cooling system works normally and the water temperature reaches the appropriate temperature. [25±1℃ in summer and 25±1℃ in winter]
3.4 installation precautions
1) Place the laser equipment horizontally in an appropriate position and fix it as necessary.
2) Before the laser equipment is powered on, please check whether the power supply voltage of the laser equipment is stable (the laser model and corresponding power supply voltage are shown in Table 5 technical parameters of the product), and whether the grounding wire is good.
3) In the process of installation and disassembly, please pay attention to gently handle the laser output cable, do not be shaken.
4) In the process of installing the output cable, do not tread, extrude or over-bend the yellow/metal armored protective sleeve to avoid damage to the optical fiber.
5) The minimum bending diameter of the output optical cable of the laser equipment shall not be less than 20cm in the non-working state of transportation and storage;
The minimum bending diameter shall not be less than 30cm in the state of light 2021 exposure.
The laser output cable must be placed in a natural state as far as possible, and the distortion of the output cable is prohibited.
Too small the diameter of the output cable will cause damage to the laser.
